			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This material relates to the <a title="Social Education Victoria" href="http://www.sev.asn.au/">SEV</a> Social Education and VCE Teachers&#8217; Conference on Monday 6th December 2010 at the State Library of Victoria, Swanston Street, Melbourne. The workshop &#8216;Using ICT in the Sociology classroom&#8217; will run between 2pm &#8211; 3.05pm.<span id="more-1240"></span></p>
<p>Sociology can be taught effectively using contemporary examples to engage students.  Encourage your students to explore sociological issues outside of the classroom by developing an online collaborative learning space such as a blog.</p>
